It’s that time of year again: various news outlets and other bloggers post tributes to 2012 and their hopes for 2013. I had intended to post my ten best/favorite photographs from the past year. Then, I saw the Weekly Photo Challenge, which asked bloggers to post an assortment of photographs from 2012. It was a big year: I left Vietnam and moved in with my parents in Columbus, Indiana. Since I had never been to Indiana, I tagged along to Rockford, Illinois, when they relocated in November. Next year doesn’t promise to be any more stable as I’ll move once again over the summer when I start a master’s degree in journalism.
In selecting the photographs for this post, I tried to choose my best work and some pictures that represented people or places that were important to me.
Enjoy the pictures, thanks for reading and have a happy, healthy, hopeful New Year!
Weekly Photo Challenge is a WordPress-organized series. Each week, there is a different photographic theme. This week’s theme is 2012. I’ll tag each post with “postaday” and “weekly photo challenge: [insert theme].”
